Project Background

Foxconn Technology Group is a high-tech enterprise of China Hon Hai Precision Group. It was established in Taipei City, Taiwan Province, China in 1974.    Foxconn is a high-tech group specializing in the production of 3C products and semiconductor equipment (the world's largest foundry manufacturer). It is the world's largest professional electronics manufacturer with more than 1.2 million employees and the world's top IT customer base.

   The project is a new factory located in the United States, covering an area of about 10,000 square meters. Two of the production lines need to use AGV automated logistics equipment to move materials and finished products in the preparation area, production line, and test area. Faced with high labor costs and frequent logistics and transportation, I hope to find a set of intelligent logistics solutions to reduce labor costs, improve logistics efficiency, and build the factory into a model of a smart factory as a key link.
Customer pain points

   There are many types of racks, and connectors need to be customized for adaptation;

   The accuracy of the docking with the production line is extremely high, and it needs to be within +/-8mm;

   According to the actual needs of customers, a variety of connectors and new submerged AGVs have been customized to realize the connection between two AGVs and six types of material racks to complete the logistics and transportation tasks;

Carry 4 BANS single-machine controllers to the existing latent and towed AGVs, with a set of BFMS multi-machine scheduling system, and pick and place at about 80 points, the cycle ranges from ten minutes to one day, And realize the functions of AGV mapping and positioning, safe obstacle avoidance, autonomous operation, path planning, task scheduling, traffic management, condition monitoring, and docking production lines.
