Should I choose a wedding vendor based mainly on reviews?

Reviews would definitely influence me, but I wouldn't rely on them alone. I would compare feedback with the vendor's portfolio, communication style, experience, and pricing. A large number of positive reviews is reassuring, but compatibility with my own expectations matters too.
